As the podcast industry booms with over 1.68 million podcasts ! What better way to start with branded podcast merchandise? We caught up with Kristen Lee on Podcasters Unlimited Ltd as she provided us with insights on branding yourself through apparel.
Check out her excellent tips below:
Tip1# Start with simple inventory, like branded T-shirts, hoodies, and wrist bands. You are using your podcast tag line or favorite phrases. Also, make sure to be aware of your analytics and who your audience is.
Tip#2 Feel out what your audience base will buy, pay attention to their likes and dislikes regarding the merchandise.
Tip#3 Budget is everything. You do not want to sit on inventory; you can start with sample pieces. If you have a budget to work with, another suggestion she stated is βto start with 50 units to cut down pricing for samples through wholesale distributors.β
