Our Virtual MeetUp Agenda 03.26.2020
We are celebrating our one year anniversary today ! We have the launch of our website which will be announced at the end of the live.
What’s going on in podcasting ?
I have an article that talks about the shift in listener preference with the Pandemic currently changing everything. Important points made in the article :
We are seeing podcast listening reductions from 12%-20% reported by podcasters and hosting platforms.
The smart agent interactive platforms from Amazon, Google, Apple could be part of the longer-term answer along with increases in desktop listening again at home.
We need to be thinking of ways to enable increasing listening from home. More info click on article below.

What are we doing ?
This specific time in our life is a very difficult time for all of us! To say the least the creatives and curators of content are able to cultivate incredible work. I have a few pointers that can help all us keep creating and still. One of the things we can do to stay efficient is use Batch Content. We got our Information from this article ;

Batch content Making multiple content to save or to distribute eventually. Creating more content in less time and with less overall stress, effort and procrastination!
Review your calendar and team’s schedule. Figure out how much extra time you have to create bonus content.
Block out time with you and your team to create regularly scheduled shows and at least one or more bonus episodes per week.
Creating content in an organized theme series . For example, one month we dedicated to podcasters: Women in Podcast, Podcast Conference creators & Film & podcasting branding . We created a whole month of content in advance that had a theme to it:
Create content at your scheduled creative time. But, make sure you know your creative time. If you're not sure, use different times or locations where you feel the most creative . Make sure to use your creative peak to make a list of ideas that work for you.
Set aside at least three or more days out of the week to send content updates on your social media platforms
Outline your ideas, have all ideas on deck and add all the ideas with a bullet.
Format and organize music logs, and production sheets for upcoming batch shows
Keep content for batch shows separate from other regularly scheduled shows and interviews.
Stay connected with your team to make sure batch content is being properly archived in a timely fashion.
Keep in contact with content batch interviewees.
Arrange alternative virtual interviews in the if and when necessary
Make sure you have more than one line of communication to your guest in the event the interview cannot be in person.
Try to schedule at least one or two additional podcast interviews to archive with your batch content.
Creative content through historical events for example what we are dealing with currently . Many of us are archiving some form of content to connect with the audience's current emotions.
